CONTI Supports Unique Digital Offerings on Transit Buses |
|
On the heels of CONTI’s recent deployment of a comprehensive digital signage network on Vancouver’s SkyTrain rapid transit system, CONTI Electronics has now entered an agreement with LiteLogic Systems of London, England (www.litelogic.com) to act as the onsite service organization for their digital bus-side billboards being deployed on metro Vancouver transit buses. Under the agreement, CONTI’s technicians have been trained to diagnose and repair the state of the art outdoor LED billboards that are installed on transit buses. CONTI will provide a local support mechanism to complement the global monitoring and tracking systems developed by LiteLogic in the UK. “We are the local hands and feet dedicated to supporting this unique technology.” Said CONTI’s President, Colby Harder.
The billboards were purchased by Lamar Transit Advertising, who manages all advertising products for Translink, metro Vancouver’s transit authority. The digital Bus Billboards are the first of their type in Canada, and provide advertisers with a unique opportunity to engage customers like never before. Many of the buses are now on the roads, in time for the 2010 Winter Olympics being held in Vancouver starting on February 12th.
