SkyTrain Digital Signage

SkyTrain is the oldest and one of the longest automated driverless light rapid transit systems in the world. The Expo and Millennium SkyTrain Lines connect downtown Vancouver with the cities of Burnaby, New Westminster and Surrey. The Canada Line connects downtown Vancouver to the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and the city of Richmond.

CONTI Evolution was engaged to design, deploy, and support a multi-station, platform based, digital signage system across all stations, in advance of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.  The system provides rider information, advertising content, and emergency communication capabilities across the entire train system network.  This project was conducted as a rollout over several years and our work was featured in cover article of industry magazine, "Sound & Communications".  Our engagement was extensive and included all planning, deployment, and ongoing support.  We also managed all structural and electrical engineering services through our strategic partners on the project to provide a true, multi-discipline, single source solution to our clients.
